With diplomas in business management and human resources, she joined us as a like-minded individual keen to nurture the growth of The Pets Workshop, and now serves as our Operations Manager in handling matters ranging from finance to customer service.

Though she may be new, her aptitude for communication and problem-solving have made her a valuable addition to the team, serving as a supportive pillar for the various outlets.

Having successfully graduated from The Pets Workshop Academy in 2025 with her Singapore Kennel Club Class C certification, Yvette joined us that same year as a pet stylist in order to apply her newfound knowledge. Having shifted from social work to pet grooming, her compassion and kindness shine through with each grooming session, where she ensures the utmost comfort for your pets.

Yvette’s bubbly personality and love for animals is clear to see, and her enthusiasm for the craft is positively infectious. Having earned her Singapore Kennel Club (“SKC”) Class C certification in just under a year from The Pets Workshop Academy, Li Ling gave up a high-flying corporate career to pursue a grooming / teaching career at The Pets Workshop, Tampines. Not only is she keen on applying what she has learnt, she has also discovered the joy of passing on her knowledge to other students at the Academy as an instructor, paving the way for a new generation of pet groomers. Besides assisting Summer in instructing students, Li Ling is concurrently continuing her pet grooming training under Summer to challenge herself and fine-tune her skills.

Mark is an ardent cat-lover who hails from Scotland. Together with his spouse and their award-winning cats, Mark has made sunny Singapore his home. Graduating from The Pets Workshop Academy’s Professional Cat Grooming course, Mark applied to join us as a cat stylist, where he could apply what he has learnt to work with cats! Talk about doing what you love!

Mark’s mature and calm approach, and his eye for details, inspire confidence amongst our feline pawrents and students. Mark currently heads the Cat Sanctuary and is also responsible for the grooming of other small pets, as well as guiding students of our small pet grooming courses. In his free time, he participates in cat shows to showcase his award-winning fur kids.

During his time in China, Jeff continued his study in the art of creative and colouring course conducted by China Animal Association and NGKC Grooming Association.

Jeff combined his rich experience with the pet grooming scene in Singapore with his exposure to the rigor of the industry in China to gain new perspectives on the technicality of pet grooming, as well as the soft skills required to succeed in the pet grooming industry. We are privileged to have Jeff join us to further advance our philosophy of redefining pet care. JingJing heads our Cat Sanctuary at The Pets Workshop @ Tampines, having been mentored by Summer, our resident cat expert. JingJing possesses the same level of finesse and respect towards cats, which translates into a prudent manner in which JingJing approaches cats, and which in turn lessens the stress level for cats. Under guidance from Summer, JingJing has acquired comprehensive technical skills to meet the diverse needs of our cat-owning customers. She is fast gaining recognition from our customers who have continuously commended her skill and service levels.

JingJing is also an award-winning Instructor at The Pets Workshop Academy, leading the effort to impart our grooming knowledge and know-how with cat enthusiasts and assisting Summer with coaching students of our dog grooming courses.

This stint further strengthened Qi Xuan’s grooming fundamentals and knowledge. She went on to earn her SKC Class B certification, topping the category with a Best Technical Award. Qi Xuan combines her strong theoretical grooming background with extensive practical experience as a pet groomer, having worked in various pet grooming establishments. May is not just a technically proficient, award-winning stylist who focuses on technical competency, but she is a professional who seeks to cultivate a strong relationship with pets, embodying the philosophy of The Pets Workshop. A pawrent to two cute poodles, May understands what pawrents expect, and the needs of our furry companions.

May will lead her team of professionals at NEX Pet Safari to deliver what customers and friends have come to expect of The Pets Workshop – a premium pet grooming experience with pets at the centre of everything we do.

Summer’s pet grooming career began after she graduated from one of the top pet grooming schools in Singapore. She then went on to join a leading pet grooming establishment and eventually became a team lead of one of its outlets, which accounts for Summer’s wealth of experience in pet grooming.

Even with her ample experience, Summer does not rest on her laurels as she continues to work to obtain her master certification. Apart from working on her master certification, Summer is a firm believer of continuing education and she attends webinars frequently to acquire new grooming knowledge and know-how to further refine her grooming skills.

Summer’s desire to redefine pet care is evident in the approach of The Pets Workshop Academy towards pet grooming education as well. Leading new learners into the world of professional pet grooming by equipping them with the necessary technical skills is the fundamental expectation at The Pets Workshop Academy. However, the pet grooming industry is in a constant process of being re-defined. The status of domestic pets is evolving, and so are the expectations and awareness of customers. Summer believes that this development is welcoming, but it means that it is no longer adequate for aspiring pet groomers to be just technically competent at what they do.
